Apply for the 2026 Chem Lab Curriculum (CLC) Innovators Program

We invite your institution to apply for the 2026 Chemistry Laboratory Curriculum (CLC) Innovators Program. Selected applicant institutions will each send a team of 3-4 people to join our community of practice. Each institutional team will consist of 2-3 instructors (full-time professors, instructors, lecturers, etc.) and 1 student worker (a graduate or undergraduate student) who will develop a new inquiry-based laboratory module during the 2026 CLC Summer Institute and implement their new module at their institution during the academic year. Ongoing virtual program activities during the academic year will provide additional support during the implementation of each module. Through this ongoing support, community members will be well-positioned to become agents of change within the broader chemistry community.

Please consider identifying your institutional team members and applying to the program. The application deadline is December 31, 2025 and we expect to select institutional teams for participation in the program by February 1st, 2026. More details about this opportunity are available on our program website. We encourage you to review our program website and to apply through the linked google form application. Please discuss this professional development opportunity with potential team members who work at your institution and let us know if you have any questions about the application process for the 2026 CLC Innovators Program.

Sincerely,

CLC Leadership Team
