We all rely on Wikipedia to one degree or another for quick and reliable
information, but Wikipedia also relies on subject-matter experts to keep
it up-to-date, accurate, and above all, as complete as possible. By
running a Wikipedia assignment, you have the chance to ensure that
Wikipedia covers the most relevant subjects in your field while helping
your students to develop critical digital literacy skills. It's a
project with real-world impact both to Wikipedia and to your students.
If you'd like to run a Wikipedia assignment in Fall 2022, submit your
course by Friday, July 29 to receive priority. Wiki Education support is
fully funded, and there are no fees to run a Wikipedia assignment. Join
the thousands of chemistry
students that have already contributed almost three million words to
Wikipedia in fields ranging from chemistry concepts to important
chemists who have been left out of the historical record.
