The Department of Chemistry at the University of Iowa solicits applications to fill a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position in Chemistry Education, with an anticipated start date in August 2025. Prospective candidates in all subdisciplines of chemical education are encouraged to apply. Research areas should address important chemistry-based pedagogical innovations and/or problems in student learning or assessment. Although the position’s research focus is on education/pedagogy, the faculty member will be expected to provide the standard level of research, teaching, and service expected of all tenure-track faculty members.
