The deadline to submit abstracts for the upcoming 2020 Biennial Conference on Chemical Education is Monday, February 24th. If you are teaching online, please consider submitting an abstract to the Engaging Students Online symposium.
Symposium Description: Science courses do not easily lend themselves to the online platform. As the push to offer online courses increases, we must find ways to help our students be successful in these nontraditional classrooms. Many of the teaching methods used in traditional classrooms are not available in an asynchronous online environment. Thus, we must be creative in the ways we involve the students with each other and the material. This symposium will look at the ways we are finding to encourage and engage our online learners.
