The Boston University Department of Chemistry is currently looking to recruit a Postdoctoral associate/scholar in Chemical Education who would be instrumental in designing, implementing, and studying an exciting top-to-bottom transformation — rooted in evidence-based and culturally responsive pedagogies — of a large-enrollment general chemistry course. Additionally, the assessment of the project will be heavily rooted in Quantitative Critical Theory (QuantCrit), with the goal of developing a course that actively repays educational debts owed to students from historically marginalized and systematically excluded groups.
