Chemistry faculty search at UC Merced

Dear Chemistry Education community,

I want to bring to your attention a recently announced position as an Assistant Teaching Professor in Chemistry, a tenure-track position focused on teaching, at UC Merced. Because UC Merced is both an Asian American, Native American, and Pacific Islander Serving Institution and a Hispanic Serving Institution, it’s very important to me that we identify future faculty who will be excellent instructors for our students. To that end, I’m reaching out to you in the hopes that you know graduate students or postdocs that are interested in teaching chemistry, currently looking for faculty positions, and are likely to thrive at a Minority Serving Institution. In addition, I'm working with colleagues in biology to build up our DBER presence, and so I'm particularly interested in people with a background and interest in CER. If you know anyone who fits this description, please encourage them to apply at https://aprecruit.ucmerced.edu/JPF01448, and if you or they have any questions, please feel free to contact me at emenke@ucmerced.edu.
