Utah Valley University invites qualified candidates to apply for a tenure-track position within the Department of Chemistry. This position will begin August 2019. Candidates must have a Doctorate in Chemistry, Chemical Education, or a related chemical discipline, and a strong commitment to effective teaching methods. Teaching responsibilities include three or four undergraduate courses in General Chemistry and/or other courses within the applicant’s area of expertise, as needed by the department, per semester. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an undergraduate research program that results in peer-reviewed publications. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students to promote successful growth of the department and serve on department, college, and university committees as fitting a tenure-track position.
