ICCE 2020 in Cape Town, South Africa in July - Second call for submission of abstracts

26TH IUPAC INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CHEMISTRY EDUCATION, ICCE 2020

Please be reminded that submission of abstracts for presentations and workshop/symposia is open and can be submitted via the following links: https://www.icce2020.org.za/abstract/ and https://www.icce2020.org.za/workshop-application/ respectively.

The Local Organising Committee invites submission of abstracts to be considered for oral or poster presentations or workshops under the following programme themes:

  • Curriculum and systems thinking in chemistry education
  • Cognition
  • Context and diversity in chemical education
  • Teacher education, development and learning communities
  • Teacher knowledge
  • Assessment
  • Practical work in chemistry
  • Linking chemistry to industry
  • Chemistry and the environment
  • Modelling in the teaching of chemistry

A prize will be awarded for the best poster and oral presentation.

Cape Town, also known as the mother city, is frequently listed by travellers as one of the best cities to visit.  Situated between the mountain and the sea it offers something for everyone.  The list of attractions includes beautiful scenery, museums, winelands, delicious food and hospitable locals.  It offers phenomenal value for money for travellers.
