Creating a Foundation of Data Literacy for Undergraduate Chemistry Students
Data literacy is a critical skill for students and especially for those pursuing degrees in STEM fields. Disciplinary data skills are taught routinely through hands on laboratory instruction. The focus of this symposium is how chemistry can be used to introduce data literacy in a broader sense including reading, interpreting, visualizing and communicating data. Presenters with novel projects or lessons for undergraduates are encouraged to submit an abstract.
