As part of a NSF-IUSE grant, the University of Arizona is looking for an Assistant Research Scientist to work on a five-year National Science Foundation-sponsored project designed to build and study a professional development model for improving instructional teams' abilities to practice evidence-based instruction in large enrollment STEM collaborative learning environments.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Working collaboratively with project PIs to develop, organize, and deliver professional learning activities including workshops, professional learning communities, and collaborations with faculty.
- Assisting in the project management activities necessary to support the professional learning activities offered each fall and spring semester of the project.
- Working with other project team members throughout the year on research activities.
