Greetings ChemEd Research Colleagues,
I hope this quick note finds you well as we all head towards a well-deserved fall break!
Here at San Francisco State University (SFSU), we have an open, general position in our Department of Computer Science. My colleagues in this department are increasingly active in computer science education and would welcome applications from individuals who aspire to have computer science education and research as their scholarly focus.
Since 2004, I have thrived as a biology education researcher at SFSU, and I would be happy to speak with anyone interested in the position about the fabulous students, faculty, staff, and academic environment that we have here. Recently, my SEPAL research group has had highly productive collaborations with computer science colleagues towards discipline-based science education research questions (e.g., Owens, Seidel, Wong, et al, PNAS, 2017, 114(12):3085-3090).
Please see position details here: https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/9924
Applications will be reviewed beginning December 15th, a bit later than stated in the ad.
Thanks for spreading the word about this wonderful position opportunity to colleagues!
Best,
Kimberly
