We seek a post-doctoral fellow to join our team on an NSF-funded collaborative research project that aims to help students develop professional skills in their STEM classrooms by designing and implementing a scalable digital platform, SkillBuilder, based on existing ELIPSS skill rubrics (ELIPSS.com). The SkillBuilder web application will be used in classroom assessment efforts to provide students with actionable and scalable feedback on transferable skill development including critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and problem solving. The project leadership includes Suzanne Ruder (Virginia Commonwealth University) and Juliette Lantz (Drew University). The start date is negotiable but should be no later than August 2024; funding for this position is available for up to 21 months. The post-doctoral fellow will work with the PI’s on this collaborative grant, but will be affiliated with VCU.
