Registration is now open for the 2023 Transforming Institutions Conference (June 12-13, 2023) in Minneapolis, MN! This conference will address critical questions about institutional change in higher education and foster connections between researchers and change agents across fields.

* Keynote by Nathan Grawe on Demographics and the Demand for Higher Education with a panel discussion for thriving with changing demographics with Archie Holmes, Mark Mitsui, and Susan Singer
* Keynote panel on accreditation in change-making with Kathryn Svinarich and Karen J. Solomon
* Workshops and symposia from national experts
* Plus presentations and posters from expert change leaders and change researchers!

Registration includes two breakfasts, two lunches, and a reception.
* Early registration (before May 15): $435
* Late registration (after May 15): $525
Registration Subsidies
Limited funding is available to support participation in the in-person Transforming Institutions 2023 Conference. Registration subsidies will be awarded based on financial need and ensuring a diverse representation of institution types at the conference. Subsidies must be requested before May 15th. Travel and Accommodations
The 2023 Transforming Institutions Conference will be held at the Royal Sonesta Minneapolis Downtown Hotel. Special room rates end on May 19th. Review the conference Travel and Accommodations for more information.
Poster Proposals are due May 15th!
The call for poster proposals is still open, and poster slots are still available in the conference program! We invite submissions of both early and mature projects that focus on all aspects of institutional change, including change outcomes, change processes, and contexts of change. Abstract submissions are 300 words or fewer. Learn more in the proposal guidelines within the Call for Proposals.
The 2023 Transforming Institutions Conference is hosted by the Accelerating Systemic Change Network (ASCN) and the Network of STEM Education Centers (NSEC) from APLU. ASCN is a network of individuals and institutions, formed with the goal of more quickly advancing STEM education programs by closing the loop between researchers and change agents. ASCN has received funding from the Helmsley Charitable Trust and NSF IUSE #1726315. NSEC is a network of 200+ campus-based STEM education centers that serve as catalysts for educational transformation in STEM. NSEC is funded by a NSF IUSE #1524832 and the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU).
