The Department of Chemistry & Physical Sciences of Nicholls State University is looking for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Chemistry position. Specifically, our department is looking to hire graduate students or postdocs whose *research focuses on biochemistry*. Please note that this is not a “visiting” position. Nicholls State University, a four-year college, is part of the University of Louisiana System. It is located in Thibodaux, LA, a town one hour away from both New Orleans and Baton Rouge. While it enjoys the status of a public college, Nicholls is also a PUI (primarily-undergraduate university) with a student population of ca. 6,000.
