Greetings, everyone. UW–Madison is currently searching for a Director for its Chemistry Learning Center (CLC).
The mission of our Chemistry Learning Center (CLC) is to assist students who are enrolled in general and organic chemistry courses to become successful and independent learners. The CLC has twelve staff members serving 550–600 students each semester. The Center offers a supportive learning environment where students meet in small groups with instructors to work out effective strategies for mastering course content. The CLC Director is responsible for leading and managing the personnel and administrative operations of the Center. The Director defines CLC policy in collaboration with staff and assesses the CLC through data collection and analysis in order to make program improvements. The Director is involved in all stages of the student selection process, from the initial contact to the assessment of the applications. The Director also provides academic support by teaching small groups and advising students individually. Application closes on Sunday, June 11 at 11:55 PM.
All the best,
Sam
