The National Younger Chemists Committee of the American Chemical Society is looking for a postdoctoral scholar to actively participate on the Graduate Education Advisory Board (Volunteer Position)
Requirements:
- Must currently be a postdoc at an academic institution, national lab, or equivalent
- Be willing to attend conference calls, virtual meetings, and possible travel to national ACS meetings (pending travel restrictions,
- Be willing to participate in discussions about a variety of topics related to graduate education and postdoctoral experiences (i.e., implicit bias, inclusive mentoring, etc.)
- Communicate their perspective efficiently and be open to having hard conversations.
Target start date: ASAP
