Colleagues,
Adelphi University invites applications for a two-year (with a possibility
of second year reappointment) Visiting Assistant Professor position in
chemistry (non-tenure-track) beginning August 2023. A Ph.D. in chemistry,
or a closely-related, chemistry-intensive field is required. Preference
will be given to candidates that specialize in physical chemistry. This
position is teaching focused, and the successful candidate will be expected
to teach general chemistry lecture and lab and ideally teach physical
chemistry lecture and/or lab. Our new colleague will be joining an
ACS-approved program where undergraduate research is embedded into our
