BCCE Call for Abstracts: Graduate Student Research Symposium

Abstract submission for the Graduate Student Research Symposium at the 2018 BCCE is open and we invite you to submit an abstract by February 20th, 2018. The Graduate Student Research Symposium has given students a great opportunity to present research for their first time for several years by offering a unique chance for graduate students to present their research and gain valuable feedback on both their research and the presentation itself.

Symposium Description: This symposium has a long history of providing a great constructive platform for graduate students to present their work on topics involving chemistry education research. The goal of this particular forum is for the audience to provide feedback in a way that does not intimidate or overly-challenge the presenter, but instead, professionally advises the student in a way that helps them grow into a better presenter and researcher. This symposium is hosted by the Younger Chemistry Education Scholars committee of DivCHED as part of their larger mission to foster growth in the future generation of chemical education researchers.
