For those who have not visited Winnipeg before, Winnipeg is a diverse and multicultural centre and known for its fantastic restaurants, cultural scene as well as home to a national museum, Canadian Museum for Human Rights. Winnipeg is situated close to the Canada-United States border - only a three-hour drive to Grand Forks, ND, four-hour drive to Fargo, ND and seven-hours to Minneapolis, MN. Winnipeg has been used as a meeting site by Aboriginal groups for over 6000 years and it was known as the "Gateway to the West" during the late 1800s. I hope you can come check out Winnipeg for yourself to see why it's such an amazing location.
Hope to see you in Winnipeg at CCCE2020!
Sincerely,
Horace Luong
