Dear CER listserv community,
In my role as International Liaison for the Higher Education Chemistry
(HEG) group of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), I am writing to
advertise an upcoming UK-based virtual meeting.
This year the *Variety in Chemistry Education and Physics Higher Education
Conference (VICEPhEC)* will be held virtually. While it is too late to
submit an abstract, you can still participate in the keynote, talks, and
poster sessions. Full details can be found on their website.
*The talks are grouped into four themes:*
Online and Blended Learning
Pedagogy and Assessment
Projects, Labs and Employability
Underrepresented groups, Accessibility and Student Success
I was fortunate to have attended and presented at this meeting in 2018,
with support from the ACS International Activities Committee, and it was a
great experience. We have a wonderful group of colleagues throughout the
UK, I hope that you will consider joining them.
*Access to all talks and posters is free of charge* and available on the
website fully from Monday 17th August. Registration is required to take
part in the live Q&A sessions taking place with presenters on Friday 21st
August via Zoom.
A *small registration fee of £5 is required for participation in the live
event* which will then result in you being sent the joining details.
