We expect review panels to meet at NSF Headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia on January 28-29 and/or February 11-12. The brief survey provides more information about the planned review panels, and asks about your areas of expertise.

Postdoctoral Position in Chemistry Education at the University of New Hampshire, Department of Chemistry

Postdoctoral Position in Chemistry Education at the University of New Hampshire, Department of Chemistry in association with several NSF Improving Undergraduate STEM Education (IUSE) projects, Professor Christopher Bauer, PI. One project investigates how experience with Peer-Led Team Learning helps students retain understanding of general chemistry ideas into analytical chemistry. Another project assesses student learning and scientific identity when an entire small college chemistry curriculum is guided and transformed using a service learning theme.

Faculty Position at Utah Valley University

Utah Valley University invites qualified candidates to apply for a tenure-track position within the Department of Chemistry. This position will begin August 2019. Candidates must have a Doctorate in Chemistry, Chemical Education, or a related chemical discipline, and a strong commitment to effective teaching methods. Teaching responsibilities include three or four undergraduate courses in General Chemistry and/or other courses within the applicant’s area of expertise, as needed by the department, per semester.
