Dear members of the DivCHED Executive Committee,
Greetings ChemEd Research Colleagues,
I hope this quick note finds you well as we all head towards a well-deserved fall break!
Here at San Francisco State University (SFSU), we have an open, general position in our Department of Computer Science. My colleagues in this department are increasingly active in computer science education and would welcome applications from individuals who aspire to have computer science education and research as their scholarly focus.
The conference will be held on the beautiful campus of the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN from July 29th through August 2, 2018. The 25th BCCE, like all of its predecessors, is designed to provide you with opportunities for interacting with chemistry instructors of all levels in formal and informal settings. There will be a mixture of plenary lectures, symposia, workshops, chemical demonstrations, poster sessions, exhibits and tours of chemistry research areas.
CER Colleagues,
Penn State Hazleton is currently conducting a search for an Assistant Professor of Chemistry (tenure-track) to begin August 2018. Although the application review began on November 1, 2017, the search will continue until a suitable candidate is found. To complement our existing chemistry faculty member, a conventional synthetic chemist, we are looking for a candidate with expertise in the areas of chemical education or theoretical/computational chemistry.
