The 103rd Canadian Chemistry Conference and Exhibition (CCCE 2020) will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba from May 24-28, 2020. I'd like to announce that the call for abstracts is now open until February 10, 2020!
Our list of symposia in the Chemistry Education technical program include:
- Advances in undergraduate research experiences: high impact practice in chemistry
-Chemistry education research
-"Intro" laboratories: how do you engage, excite and evaluate students?

If you are willing and available to serve as a review panelist for the National Science Foundation’s Improving Undergraduate STEM Education (IUSE) Level 2 and 3 proposals, please provide the requested information at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/IUSE20
We expect the chemistry-education-focused panel meetings to be held on site at NSF Headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia on January 27-28. (You can also use the URL above to volunteer for other IUSE review panels throughout fiscal year 2020.)
We, Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ, are in need of an emergency General Chemistry I lecturer for the Spring of 2020, i.e. starting January! Two large sections (~160 students each) of Gen Chem I to be taught with classes starting Jan 13, 2020. Contract starts preceding week.
Masters in chemistry or related field minimum, Ph.D. preferred.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Center for Integrative Studies in General Science (CISGS) administered by the College of Natural Science is seeking a fixed term faculty instructor/scholar to participate in the ongoing priority initiative of providing high-quality science education to future teachers and non-STEM majors.
