26th IUPAC International Conference on Chemistry Education, ICCE 2020

Dear Colleague,

The 26th IUPAC International Conference on Chemistry Education, ICCE 2020, will be held in Cape Town, South Africa, from 13-17 July 2020. We invite abstracts for oral submissions, posters, workshops or symposia.

The theme for the conference is a “2020 vision of Chemistry Education” which was inspired by the vision of Nelson Mandela who said:

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Montana seeks applications for the position of Instructor. This is a multi-year ten month (academic-year) position, renewable contingent on satisfactory performance, beginning August, 2020 or earlier depending on availability. The selected candidate will also be offered the opportunity to teach future Summer Semester classes on a separate contract.

My name is Rebekka Darner, and the post-doctoral fellow working on Project EDDIE at Illinois State University, Tanya Josek, and I are looking for instructors (including graduate TAs) from both K-12 and colleges/universities to complete a survey focusing on the use of data sets in the classroom. Please note that even if you do not use data sets in your classroom you are still eligible to take the survey.
