Dear CER-listers,

A note to raise awareness of the library of Chemistry Education Research webinars available on our YouTube channel. Over the last two years we have hosted webinars on a range range of topics in CER. Presenters were asked to share some detail of methods used, analysis and interpretation of data, and implications to teaching, as well as answer lots of questions - all in an hour (easy, right?!).

NSF EHR Directorate invites you to consider a new solicitation, Building Capacity in STEM Education Research (BCSER), NSF 19-565. Here is the link to the solicitation (BCSER). Several different types of proposals are possible. The deadline for proposals is June 7, 2019.

Radford University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow in the Department of Chemistry with an ideal start date of July 1, 2019. http://jobs.radford.edu/postings/7244.This position is part of Radford University’s REALising Inclusive Science Excellence (REALISE), a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) funded five year initiative. The teaching postdoctoral fellow will be immersed in teaching, service, and research at a predominantly undergraduate institution.

Associate Director Position at Florida International University

Florida International University and the STEM Transformation Institute are seeking an individual to fill the position of the Associate Director (AD) of FIUteach and Clinical Assistant Professor.

This is a full time, 12-month position. FIUteach is a secondary teacher preparation initiative that is helping to produce highly effective mathematics and science teachers.
