Conference on advancing research on quantitative reasoning in STEM education - abstract submission closes in two weeks
Hi colleagues,
Hi colleagues,
Dear colleagues,
The Chemical Education Research Committee (CERC, a standing committee of the ACS Division of Chemical Education) sponsors several symposia every year. As part of a strategic effort to expand participation in DivCHED within our ongoing activities, we would like to open a call for symposium organizers for 2026 – 2027. Experienced organizers and presiders are welcome, but early career scholars (such as graduate students and postdocs) and chemistry educators interested in greater DivCHED participation are especially encouraged to volunteer.
Dear Colleagues,
Need a reason to visit Southern California in January? Marcy Towns of our community is a plenary speaker. Check it out! Abstracts close in 6 weeks (Oct. 15).

Hi chem ed colleagues!
We are excited to announce an interdisciplinary conference on advancing research on quantitative reasoning (QR) in STEM education! The conference will be held at Chapman University on January 15-16, 2026, and will have three fantastic plenary speakers (Anita Schuhardt, bio education; Marcy Towns, chemistry education; Lindsey Engle Richland, math education). The conference has the following goals:
Dear Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars,
We are excited to invite you to apply for a virtual three-day professional development conference designed specifically for chemistry education researchers, taking place July 28–30, 2025.
Do you want to change how we teach undergraduate STEM courses? Are you interested in developing skills in STEM education or discipline-based education research (DBER)? We are recruiting a postdoctoral researcher to join us at North Dakota State University.
