Dear Fellow Chemists and Educators,
This is a call for abstracts from both practitioners and researchers for the symposium Blended Instruction Design and Assessment: Leveraging technology to promote adaptive learning for college chemistry at the 2022 Biennial Conference on Chemical Education (BCCE) at Purdue University (West Lafayette, Indiana) from July 31st-August 4th. Abstracts must be submitted by February 28th, 2022 for full consideration.

The Department of Chemistry at UNT invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Lecturer, to begin in August 2022. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field and some teaching experience. Primary duties for the position will be in our high-enrollment General Chemistry and/or Organic Chemistry courses, which serve as important gateway courses for students in STEM majors and have a major impact on students' ability to attain their educational goals.

The silencing and invisibility of women with diverse intersectional identities in academic and professional spaces within the scientific community dramatically impact the understanding of how to support them.
