Call of Interest: New Academic Journal

CALL OF INTEREST

The Bulgarian Society for Chemical Education and History and Philosophy of
Chemistry is part of the Union of Chemists in Bulgaria, a member of the
European Association for Chemical and Molecular Sciences, EuChemS. We plan to
establish a new peer-reviewed academic journal entitled Teaching and Learning
Chemistry: An Academic Journal.

Loss of Dorothy Gabel

Many will remember Dorothy Gabel, who was a staunch advocate for chemistry education, particularly in elementary schools. Dorothy died on October 30 after a long struggle with dementia. She retained her good spirits and friendly nature until the end. Dorothy was a Sinsinawa Dominican and spent her last years well cared for by the other sisters.
