CER symposia and talks at NORM 2019

Good afternoon everyone,

I'm writing to let everyone know that my institution, Portland State University, will be hosting the next ACS Northwest Regional Meeting (NORM) meeting.

The meeting will be held in Portland, Oregon *June 16-19, please save the date!

I will be organizing the Chemistry Education Research programing and am hoping for a great turnout.

Abstracts for symposia will open in November - please consider organizing a session!

Positions Available at University of Wisconsin-Madison

The chemistry department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking applicants for positions at the assistant, associate, and full professor levels in all subdisciplines of chemistry.

Successful candidates will be expected to teach chemistry courses at the undergraduate and graduate level, mentor graduate and undergraduate students, and develop an internationally recognized scholarly research program in an area of specialization, including chemical education research. Also expected are professional and university service as appropriate.

DBER Position at UNL

The College of Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (http://engineering.unl.edu) invites applications for three tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of assistant professor in the area of engineering education. The UNL College of Engineering is building a cohort of discipline-based education research (DBER) faculty to both collectively establish national leadership in DBER and contribute to research-based transformations within their engineering academic units.
