Director of General Chemistry Laboratories (with Faculty Rank)

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Southwestern University seeks
applicants for a Director of General Chemistry Laboratories with the rank
of Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) to begin in summer 2021. The
major responsibility of this position is teaching and managing our
two-semester guided-inquiry general chemistry laboratory series. The
successful candidate is expected to coordinate all sections of the

Dissertation Research: Faculty's perception of teaching in different modalities

Dear Chemistry Faculty,

My name is Amy Graff and I am a doctoral student in the DET program at
Central Michigan University. For my dissertation, I am examining faculty’s
perception of different modalities of “what does teaching look like?” in
chemistry courses. I am inviting you to participate in this research study
by completing the anonymous survey. The results will only be used for
