The Department of Chemistry at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. The position is anticipated to emphasize research that complements current departmental efforts in chemical education. This includes research areas such as assessment, fundamental investigations of student learning in chemistry, investigations of efficacy and effectiveness of research-based instructional strategies, and student retention in chemistry.

The Department of Chemistry at East Carolina University seeks applications to fill a Teaching Instructor or Teaching Assistant Professor position beginning on August 14, 2017. This fixed-term faculty position is for the 2017-2018 academic year, with the possibility of subsequent appointments.

The Department of Chemistry has 27 research and teaching faculty; it offers BS, BA and MS degrees and a PhD through participation in the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Program in the Biological Sciences (IDPBS).

Grand Valley State University is searching for an affiliate faculty (instructor) to begin in the Fall of 2017. This is primarily a teaching position but the person filling this position would have the oppurtunity to particpate in curriculium development and/or chemistry education research projects. 

Position Title:  Affiliate faculty beginning in August 2017.

Required Qualifications and Education: Candidates must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Chemistry and a strong commitment to and demonstrated excellence in undergraduate education.
