Postdoctoral position in CER at UNL

The Department of Chemistry at University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) is searching for a full-time postdoctoral position in chemistry education research with Dr. Alena Moon. The postdoctoral fellow will assist in constructing a learning progression for a core concept in physical chemistry. The successful applicant will design and conduct qualitative interviews with a range of participants—from introductory undergraduate students to graduate students.

The RSC Chemical Education Research group webinar series continues in March with a webinar from Prof Dr Nicole Graulich, Institute of Didactics of Chemistry, Justus-Liebig University of Giessen, on 21st March at 4.30 PM GMT. She will discuss students' reasoning when doing organic chemistry mechanisms.

Attached is the call for proposals (click the CER listserv link to access the attachement) for the 2018 Assessment Institute in Indianapolis featuring the second year of the STEM Education track. The Institute, hosted by IUPUI, is now the nation’s oldest and largest event focused exclusively on outcomes assessment in higher education. Please consider submitting a proposal. Proposals are due by March 9, 2018.
