The University of Oregon Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry seeks applications for a Career Chemistry Instructor position.

Teaching responsibilities will include but are not limited to: lecture and laboratory instruction in Introductory and General Chemistry. Depending on interest and expertise, there may also be opportunities to teach Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Instrumental Analysis. The Instructor will participate in curriculum development and review, laboratory course development and review, and other department and college-wide activities.

I am looking for a postdoc to join my group at the Department of Biology Teaching + Learning at the University of Minnesota. The postdoc will join a dynamic group of researchers inclusive of undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs and DBER faculty. The project entails analyzing data related to classroom discourse, dynamics, and student engagement. There is also opportunity to collect new data related to student belonging within the context of classroom discourse perspective.

The extended deadline for abstract submissions for BCCE 2022 is Monday March 7, 2022. The 27th Biennial Conference on Chemical Education will be held at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana from July 31-August 4th of this year.
