Participants Needed to Capture Experiences of Marginalized Women Pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry

Dear Colleagues,

Greetings from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro! We are continuing to recruit participants for an IRB-approved study that aims to understand the experiences of marginalized women while pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry. The silencing and invisibility of women with diverse intersectional identities in academic and professional spaces within the scientific community dramatically impact the understanding of how to support them. Therefore, through this project, we would like to understand:

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Virginia invites applications for Postdoctoral Research Associates in Discipline-Based Education Research under the direction of Dr. Marilyne Stains (https://sites.google.com/view/marilynestains/home). The successful candidate(s) will analyze data collected as part of large research projects previously funded by NSF.
