Empower students by improving chemistry related content on Wikipedia this Fall!

Since 2010, Wiki Education has been empowering students to have a lasting impact on today's knowledge landscape by helping them to contribute their expertise to Wikipedia. In that time, we've supported over 100,000 students who have thus far added over 80 million words to Wikipedia. Wiki Education is now signing classes up for the Fall 2022 term, and we hope you'll join us in this critical work.

Two Postdoctoral Research Positions at San Diego State University

The Komperda group in the Chemistry & Biochemistry Department at San Diego State University is hiring two postdoctoral researchers. Both positions are for projects where a strong quantitative background will be beneficial (details below). These positions are open to candidates both trained in CER and candidates in other fields with relevant training, so please share widely within your networks. Start dates can be as soon as this July and review of applications begins immediately.

Suggested Journals for Publication

Hope this message finds everyone well. A local high school chemistry teacher reached out to me about a project that she did with her AP Chemistry students during Spring, 2021. The chemistry involved in the project was pretty simple and there were a few errors in the research design. Nonetheless, the activity of involving an entire class of about 10-15 students in the identification of a research problem and its implementation is, at least in my opinion, really worth reporting.
